Today I had several meetings for the documentary I’m the publicist for (“White Girls in Hip-Hop: The Documentary”) and I was in the mood to wear something to fit the weather. I woke up to beautiful Cali weather and felt like wearing shorts. I threw on some leopard shorts and a regular black long-sleeved v-neck top (rolled up), and my combat boots. I honestly don’t have too many clothes and shoes, but I know how to mix and match my things so it may always look like I just came back from shopping. Hopefully, I can show people it’s okay to re-use stuff over and over. I’ll show you how I rock the items I have in my closet in different ways, works every time. Oh and yes, had to have my Starbucks, iced upside down caramel macchiato in hand. (;
To me, it’s really not about how much you spend on your products, but rather how you wear them. I have no shame in re-using my outfits, but I learn how to put things together differently. I’d like to describe my style as laid back, edgy, unique, and spontaneous. I guess you could say my personality reflects that too.
How do you rock your outfits and re-use the items in your closet?
