I wasn’t blessed with a million dollar fortune, so I had to resort to coming up with different and new ways to wear my clothes. I learned to love the idea of surprising myself (and others) by coming up with an innovative way to wear my clothes. I guess you can say, I was always known for being able to dress up one item a different way every time. I’ve been told that it looked like I went shopping recently because I’d wear something I already owned, but completely changed the feel of the outfit. A lot of future posts will be a compilation of how to wear an item differently each time. I tend to come up with my best outfits at last minute, when I’m just about to run out the door. I’m always more about how I’m feeling, rather than the “plan-the-night-before” type.

Here is a little shoot I did, all photos are shot by my boyfriend, and I pretty much just worked with what I already had. I’m not ashamed to say that I re-use my clothes in different ways every time. When you’re on a tight budget, it’s the only way to go. At the end of the day, it’s about how confident you are in wearing what you are and not giving a rat’s a@% about what people think.

I purchased this orangy blouse from Love Culture a while back and found that it’s definitely wearable with many different bottoms. I’m glad I purchased it and was able to fill the voids of wondering what to wear to another event.
