As some of you may already know, last week LLL was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas and attend the fashion blogger’s dream convention: The MAGIC Show. While there, we made lots of amazing new friends and discovered a slew of talented emerging designers (and labels).
Since Lisa has the majority of my day one outfit pictures still on her camera, I’m going to introduce my outfits slightly backwards – from most to least recent.
On the last day of the MAGIC Show (Thursday, August 23), the summer storm that we had driven into, thankfully went away and allowed us to enjoy a bit of sunshine and sunny weather. My feet were still aching from the day of walking and parlaying the night before and so I definitely knew I wanted to wear sandals the last day. Our good friends, An Dyer (of Haute Pink Pretty) and Sheryl Luke (of Walk in Wonderland) were hosting blogger panels at the Las Vegas Convention Center and I certainly didn’t want to miss that. However, the outfit that I brought along presented a small problem; it featured mostly black and dark tropical colors and the only sandals I brought along were nude. So what do you do when your shoes don’t match your outfit? Blogger fix: Add a purse that does! The purse will distract some of the attention away from the fact that the shoes don’t match, and the shoes and purse then become outfit staples instead of outfit disasters. Just a tip I picked up from Lisa, thanks honey! ;)
Sequin Vest: Shimmer New York
Purse: Vintage (Thrift Store)
Accessories: Various boutiques
After spending some time at the Las Vegas Convention Center, we decided to hit the Strip one last time. After all, no Vegas trip is complete without Fat Tuesday and Earl of Sandwich!
Until next time, see ya Vegas! ;)
