Lisa took me with her on a trip to Palm Springs a while back. It was a quick getaway to escape the city lights, LA smog, and stir of the fast paced life that we’re used to. We stayed at a lowkey spot and we had the pool to ourselves. What was most amazing about this trip was going on a treasure hunt in random thrift stores (fashion-related of course!). We had some good finds. I copped these cute boots for $6 while Lisa found some awesome things as well. We were even able to stop in the middle of the road for a quick snap shot for LLL. I’m rockin’ my Guess Sunglasses and a simple tube top dress from Forever 21. My American Eagle sandals are one of my favs in my closet because they out-lived almost every occasion. I actually had them for a while now and got them from Payless.

We paid a visit to memorabilia of popular icons Lucille Ball (Lisa’s favorite actress of all time) and Marilyn Monroe. Lisa mentioned to me that Palm Springs was a favorite go-to place for big actors and stars during the 50’s.
