Last Tuesday, September 18th, Hazzle and I had the pleasure of attending the first ever BeautyCon Industry Event hosted by YouTube and the Beauty Fashion Vloggers Alliance (BFVA). Although we weren’t quite sure what to expect, since we’d been invited through our lovely fashion bloggers’ club, Two Point Oh! LA, we knew it was sure to be huge (and a guaranteed good time). Not only was it held at the illustrious Google LA Campus – which we hadn’t been to since our meeting and welcoming into the L.A. Fashion Bloggers – but sitting on a super-star beauty panel were some of our favorite beauty bloggers (including Andrea’s Choice, Chriselle Lim, Liane Mullen, Blair & Elle Fowler and L.A. Fashion Bloggers very own, Mary Darling & Leah Ashley!). With a lineup like this, who could resist? We had to make an appearance!

To kick things off, the featured guest speakers spoke out on a number of topics ranging from their favorite products to how to graciously turn down a sponsor. Everywhere you looked, the place was jam-packed with beauty and fashion bloggers. Indeed, it seemed that all of fashionable L.A. had come out for a fun evening of mingling, refreshments and of course gifting!

Speaking of gifts… I have to give an enormous shout out to all of BeautyCon’s sponsors. Not only did they gift the guest speakers, but they gifted every blogger in the building. I especially loved all the great skincare products that I received from Proactiv and the sexy night-wear that I got from Fredericks of Hollywood. Glamhouse and FAWN were on the scene giving out fabulous beauty products – including super cute nail polish colors and lipgloss – and I even got a giftcard to shop online at SoleSociety (whose shoes I absolutely love and can’t wait to order!). I got a fabulous gold necklace from Glamhouse-Ever Eden (which I can’t wait to rock) and tons of other great gifts. Hazzle and I had such a blast and I absolutely can’t wait until the next one!
