For me, 2012 was a year of great achievement, change and advancements, and I learned much about myself (and love, and friends and career). Since launching Lipstick, Lace & Lattes in April (along with Hazzle, Lisa, Kris and Sheri), I feel like I’ve really “come into my own” as far as what I want to accomplish, what makes me happy and the goals that I need to set and reach to achieve my ultimate fulfillment. I’m in such a peaceful and positive space right now and I honestly have to say that I owe a lot of it to my journey here at LLL.
Although we’re still less than a year old, Lipstick, Lace & Lattes has been blessed with opportunities far beyond expectation and it still makes my head spin to think of everything we’ve accomplished so far:
-Partnering up with Google and launching the “L.A. Fashion Bloggers“
-Collaborating with Guess on the “Shades of Summer” campaign
-Working with Cosmopolitan Magazine and Crocs on the “Fearless Fashion” campaign
-Attending MAGIC and PROJECT in Las Vegas for the first time
-Being invited to speak to the “Students in Fashion” group at California State Univ., Long Beach
-Shooting and styling our Spring and Summer 2012 Lookbooks
-Joining Two Point Oh! and meeting tons of amazing fashion and beauty bloggers…
I’m so proud of all we have achieved and my hope for the New Year is that the blog can continue to grow, expand and inspire people all around the world with fashion, beauty and embracing your genuine “uniqueness”.
Unfortunately, as the saying goes, without change there can be no progress, and in the coming weeks we will be announcing some changes that may shock and surprise you. However, I want to encourage everyone to please continue to stand by us and our brand. LLL has grown to have such an amazing support network and readership base, and we hope that you all will continue to support us on our new journey as we navigate our way through the new year. We have lots of amazing features, giveaways and collaborations planned so stay locked! From me to you, thank you for supporting LLL and Happy New Year!!!
P.S. The photos in this post were taken during my trip to MAGIC last year… Somehow, I never quite got around to posting them. After deciding to clean out my computer, I ran across these photos again and I thought they had a certain festive feel to them. Since my New Years eve was much less glamorous – I spent it hanging out with family – I thought I might as well give you all a New Years treat :) Enjoy!
