Last Friday, I had the pleasure of supporting one of my good friend’s make-up class along with my sister and Sarah. Jana Wongsarojana is a licensed cosmetologist and used to work on my hair for years, accomplishing many styles like daring colors and cuts such as red to purple and long to short. She also worked at Sephora, SmashBox, and MAC (Nordstrom counter and the store). I remember asking her a long time ago what she wanted to do in the long run and she said she wanted to do special make-up effects for movies one day. I wonder if she still does want to and I hope that she does because she is really talented. I hope when she gets to do make-up on actors in zombie movies, she’d invite me, being that I’m a huge zombie fan. Haha! Kidding! I am so proud of her and her accomplishments.

About twenty to thirty people gathered at Mimi’s Beauty Lounge where she held her class. Jana shared make-up tips as she worked on a live model. She talked us step by step from how to do smokey eyes to contouring the face. She did an excellent job and many in the audience had great questions. All in all, the event was a success.

After the class, my sister, sarah, Jana, her boyfriend, and our friend Richard went to Honey Boba in Lomita. Honey Boba definitely lives up to its hype! It’s super delicious and the ambience at the spot is nice. It’s a cool little hang out spot. I highly encourage people to go check that out.
